Content distribution and contribution

Content distributed by sakis3g.org operated sites and sakis.tel4u.gr should not violate anyone's rights. If you discover abusive, intrusive, confidential or copyrighted content please contact me.

Third party contributions to sakis3g.org operated sites, and sakis.tel4u.gr, including but not limited to blog post comments, forum posts, Wiki contributions and contributions to documentation, functionality and code of Sakis3G script should also comply with this rule. Failure to do so, will result into:

• immediate content removal,
• depending on violation level and/or repetitive behavior, you may receive a complete ban from using sakis3g.org provided services, with or without prior notice.

In case violation constitutes a crime, as defined by Greek and European Union laws, sakis3g.org reserves the right to provide whatever proof, logs, evidence, information (personal or not) and help possible, to authorities in charge.

Content subject to immediate removal includes advertisement material to commercial activities.

Personal Information of visitors/website users

Some services provided by sakis3g.org operated sites and sakis.tel4u.gr do require from user to provide his/her email address, desired user name and desired password. Even in cases that a certain web application seeks more information, you should feel free to provide fake information just to overcome this implications.

In particular:

• Email addresses submitted as part of blog post comment to sakis.tel4u.gr, are:
  1. not displayed to anyone else apart me,
     • I will only use it to contact you back, in case you ask me to do so.
  2. only used by blog software to both identify you, and inform you of replies,
  3. not used for receiving updates and newsletters about Sakis3G script.
• Email addresses submitted as part of registration procedure to forum.sakis3g.org:
  1. Are used for account activation, password retrieval, notification purposes for threads you subscribe to and for certain account/profile administration actions,
  2. Are only provided to other forum members, only if you have permitted it to happen through respective option within your profile.
  3. Are used for receiving updates and newsletters about Sakis3G script, only if you have checked the "allow administrators to contact me through email" option.
• Email addresses submitted as part of registration procedure to wiki.sakis3g.org:
  1. Are used for account activation, password retrieval, notification purposes for pages you subscribe to and for certain account/profile administration actions,
  2. Are not available to other Wiki members,
  3. Are not used for receiving updates and newsletters about Sakis3G script.

Exceptions apply in case a user wants to contribute content (see next paragraph).

Personal Information of project contributors

In cases where a certain individual wishes to contribute content, he needs to provide me personal information (limited to identification information), as well as a proof of permission in case of copyrighted material. Personal information gathered for this reason will only be used:

1. in cases of content violation resolution as expressed in a previous paragraph,
2. will be published only upon contributor's consent.
   • As an exception, those who contribute a translation for Sakis3G script, need to agree in their name being displayed. This limitation is introduced, for allowing "About" dialog of Sakis3G script being uniformly displayed under all localized versions.

Donations and donor information

A specific donor's personal information and/or donated amount will only be publicly available upon donor's request. I reserve the right to publicly announce only:

• the average donation amount, and
• and count of donations received so far, or for a certain period of time.

I also reserve the right to contact a donor back, by email, for the following purposes:

1. To say a "thanks",
2. To inform you on how I spent your donation.

Other than that, donors' information will be made available to Greek taxation and electronic crime authorities if/whenever requested to do so.

Session tracking cookies

Following sakis3g.org operated sites:

1. forum.sakis3g.org,
2. wiki.sakis3g.org, and
3. sakis.tel4u.gr.

allow a user to register and later identify him/herself using registered credentials, through a procedure ofter called "Login". For this to be possible, a session-tracking cookie is dropped on user's browser. User is offered the ability for this cookie to be a never-expiring cookie through "remember me" option, offered by all three sites.

A session-tracking cookie may be dropped even if user does not register or login to system. This happens for respective web service (Wiki, forum or blog) to be able and preserve preferences, user might have performed, during future visits.

Modern browsers allow user to prevent specific sites, or even all sites, from placing cookies. You should consult your browser's documentation for determining actions required for preventing sakis3g.org operated sites from dropping cookies to your browser.

Cookies placed on a user's browser, as a result of him/her visiting a sakis3g.org operated site, are not used for any other reason than those outlined by previous paragraphs.

Being identified to a sakis3g.org operated site, through "Login" procedure, while using a publicly available computer is highly discouraged, unless you:
